Bring your Jeep Renegade into Onyx Autocentre for regular servicing and you’ll notice the benefits.
Not only will your Renegade run more smoothly, but because we follow the Jeep servicing specifications, any warranty that’s left on your vehicle will be unaffected. If your Renegade is past its warranty period, we have Interim, Full and Major service levels which cover the needs of most vehicles. We’ll assess yours when it comes in to establish which level would suit it best, and obviously discuss our findings with you before making a start.
All Renegade servicing is conducted at our workshop in Slough, near Langley and Colnbrook, where we have the latest automotive technology and tools, and a team of experienced, talented technicians who will treat you as the valued customer that you are, not just another registration number.
Interim
Service Includes:
- Engine oil
- Oil filter
- Windscreen additive top-up
- Coolant top-up
- Brake fluid top-up
- Power steering fluid top-up
- AdBlue top-up (diesel engines only - extra cost if needed)
- Check external lights, instrument warning lights and horn operation
- Check operation and condition of windscreen wipers and washers
- Check general oil leaks and advice
- Check antifreeze strength - advise if replacement needed (extra cost)
- Check cambelt replacement intervals and advise
- Visual check of brake pads for wear
- Check tyre condition and tyre depths
- Check tyre pressure and adjust
- Check steering rack gaiters condition
- Check exhaust condition and advise
- Check clutch fluid level (if applicable)
- Check transmission oil leaks
- Reset vehicle service light where applicable
Full
Service Includes:
- Everything in an Interim service
- Air filter
- Check pollen filter condition and advise if replacement needed (extra cost)
- Check windscreen for cracks and chips
- Check external and internal mirror condition
- Check number plate condition
- Check seat belt operation
- Check radiator and coolant hoses condition and leaks (including header tank)
- Check auxiliary drive belts (NOT cambelt) condition and tension
- Check fuel system and tank (if visible)
- Check brake fluid condition and advise if replacement needed (extra cost)
- Visual check of brake disks for wear
- Check all visible brake pipes and hoses
- Check handbrake operation
- Check brake callipers for leaks and security
- Check road springs
- Check steering/suspension components
- Check shock absorber condition
- Check wheel bearings
- Check exhaust smoke (diesel)
- Check drive shaft gaiters for security and report leaks
Major
Service Includes:
- Everything in a Full service
- Fuel filter (if fitted externally, if not, replace pollen filter)
- Check door, bonnet and lock operation
- Check air conditioning system operation
- Check radiator cap
- Check electrical coolant fan (if applicable)
- Check change spark plugs (petrol models only) dependant upon age and mileage (extra cost)
- Check clutch operation
